The Youth realizes he cannot win by strength alone. He discovers Baš Čelik’s weakness. In many versions, the "soul" (života) of Baš Čelik is not in his body but hidden far away (in a bird, inside an egg, etc.). The hero finds the hidden soul and destroys it.
