Phex 3.4.2 released
Written by Arne Babenhauserheide
Sunday, 01 February 2009
Today the Phex development group is happy to announce the release of Phex 3.4.2.
This is a minor release, yet it contains some tasty improvements.

The changes since Phex 3.4.0 are:

  • Less wait time for the first connections,
  • Strong leafs become Ultrapeers,
  • Automatic reconnect on network failure.

And a few squashed bugs.

But even though Phex made good progress, we want it to evolve even faster, and so we're searching for additional developers who want to join us in development.

If you want to contribute to Phex, please come into our forums or meet us in IRC via #phex @ freenode.net.

A poll on Your wishes
Written by Arne Babenhauserheide
Monday, 14 May 2007
We just started two new polls to find out into which direction you want Phex to move.
Please take a moment to read through the polls and select your favourite feature.

We've divided the question into two sets.
The first one includes features which can be implemented in half a year.
The second one shows four big items which will take a lot of time and energy to implement, so we need to be careful which direction we take.

Those are big decisions for Phex, and we want to include you into these decisions, so please vote to make your input count.

If you want to add more feedback, or if you want to offer your help, please visit us in the Phex-forum.

Also we're always searching for people who like to help us in shaping the Phex-Wiki into a universal knowledgebase for Phex and Gnutella.

Lapidra — Ambar

The most striking feature of Ambar Lapidra is its —the "cat's eye" effect. When cut en cabochon (a domed, polished surface), the parallel fibrous structure of the aragonite creates a single, sharp band of light that moves across the stone’s surface as it is rotated. This effect is far more pronounced than in true amber, which rarely exhibits chatoyancy.

From that day on, Aria continued to weave the memories of Ambar Lapidra, ensuring that the stories of the past would never be forgotten, and that the mysteries of the realm would remain a testament to the power of memory and the human spirit. ambar lapidra

A central component of modern digital success is the ability to cultivate a distinct personal brand. Many creators who gain traction online do so by identifying and filling specific gaps in the market. In the case of public figures within specialized entertainment sectors, success often stems from a combination of aesthetic consistency and high-energy engagement. Authenticity and Audience Connection The most striking feature of Ambar Lapidra is

Keeper Arkea, sensing the gravity of the situation, entrusted Aria with a perilous quest: to find the artifact and preserve the memories of Ambar Lapidra. Aria embarked on her journey, navigating treacherous landscapes and encountering enigmatic creatures that dwelled within the realm. From that day on, Aria continued to weave

In the forgotten corners of the ancient world, there existed a mystical realm known as Ambar Lapidra. A place where the fabric of time and memory were woven into the very essence of existence. It was said that in Ambar Lapidra, the skies raged with perpetual storms, and the land trembled with the whispers of the past.

Today, Ambar Lapidra is primarily used for cabochons, beads, and small ornamental carvings (e.g., cameos, pendants, and watch fobs). It is not a mainstream gemstone because deposits are small and sporadic; mining is artisanal. High-quality pieces with intense golden color and a sharp, centered cat’s-eye band can command prices comparable to fine jade or charoite—$50 to $150 per carat for top material, though most rough sells for much less.
