To Install Mods: Sklauncher How

Unlike the official Minecraft Launcher or some other third-party launchers, SKlauncher does not have a built-in "Modpack" or "Auto-install Mod" button for specific mods. Instead, you must install mods manually by managing your game versions and folders. Prerequisite: Install Fabric or Forge You cannot just drag mods into the standard Minecraft version. Mods require a mod loader (like Forge or Fabric). SKlauncher makes this easy:

Open SKlauncher . Go to the Installations tab (top menu). Click "New Installation" . In the "Version" dropdown, search for either "Fabric" or "Forge" .

Note: Fabric is generally preferred for modern Minecraft (1.14+), while Forge is common for older versions or massive modpacks.

Select the version you want (e.g., fabric-loader-0.15.7-1.20.4 ) and click Create . Launch the game once with this new profile and then close it. This ensures the necessary folders are created. sklauncher how to install mods
