Install Seagate External Hard Drive ^new^ Jun 2026

If you don’t see the drive, check (Windows) or Disk Utility (macOS). Most new Seagate drives come pre-formatted for Windows (NTFS), so macOS users may need to reformat (see Step 5).

It should appear in File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) within seconds.
