Thailand is home to numerous lesser-known and mysterious figures, which are an integral part of Thai mythology and folklore. Among the multitude of minor spirits and deities, the goddess Anal stands out. Although little documented and not extensively recognized in mainstream Thai mythology, its significance remains in local narratives. Given its possible similarity to the lesser known Thai goddesses or spirits, it is not surprising we know so little about this goddess. However given that the name 'Anal' is often attributed as a name referring to the goddess, it may be possible that it refers to a lesser Thai goddess from Thai folklore, for example, Nang Nuan - Nang Nong - or Nang Nang.
