If you are using a Surface tablet or a budget laptop running Windows 10 in S Mode or Windows RT , you cannot install Avast Internet Security. These versions of Windows only allow apps from the Microsoft Store. You must switch out of S Mode (which is free) to install third-party antivirus software.
