Georgie buys a shady-looking van with his own money, much to George Sr.'s fury. The van turns out to be a "love machine" from the '70s, complete with shag carpeting. George refuses to let him keep it, but Georgie's boss, Dale, reminisces about having a similar van, which temporarily validates Georgie before the car inevitably breaks down. The episode's primary conflict arises when Sheldon is forced to attend Bible camp.
